The community center , located at 400 Anemki Drive is home to many, local education, employment training programs, mountain bingo and of course a full service banquet , conference center.
Resource Center
The resource center is available during business hours. It is equipped with computers for public use, photo copy machine, and of course helpful literature to help enquiring individuals find a path to success.
Employment, Training Counseling
If you need assistance creating a resume, or some direction in making education or career choices, make an appointment to speak with an Employment Training Councilor. A YES Employment Service's Councilor and the bands own Employment Training Councilor are both on hand to help answer the tough questions, give guidance when requested. If you feel you need some assistance with employment or career advancement, just drop in and say hello.
Get Your GED
Through a joint venture between Confederation College and the FWFN band. It is now possible to take a 12 week program and obtain your GED (General Educational Development) certificate. Definitely a course worth looking into, weather it is for personal development, to enhance your resume or if you have been out of school for some time, and are considering returning to school as a mature student.
KHIS - Keewaytinook Internet High School

Banquets & Meetings
Located near Mt Mackay scenic lookout, Fort William First Nation's Newly built Community Center is perfect for gatherings. weather you are looking for a cozy atmosphere to host a business luncheon for up to 20 people, or a large wedding, our facility is licensed to seat up to 700 people.
We are capable of meeting your corporate conference needs. Our facility offers sound equipment, internet conferencing, microphones, overhead projectors, televisions along with VCR's and DVD players.
We offer several menu's to suit your needs, tea, coffee, a light lunch, to a full course dinner menu. We can also cater to those who require a more traditional menu.

Directions: If you are driving from the City of Thunder Bay to the Reserve, cross over theJames Street Swing Bridge. turn left at the 4 way stop. Turn right onto Mission Road. Keep driving until you have passed St Anne Church ( located on your left hand side ) Shortly after you will catch sight of the FWFN Arena. Prior to reaching the arena prepare to make another left hand turn onto Anemki Drive. Continue past the "L" shaped Arena building, the next building to your right hand side is the Community Center.
Tip: If you are looking for the resource center or education and employment services, the door is located on the left side of the building.
